"Cash (2-0) pitched a complete game, struck out 13 batters and gave up only one unearned run to lead Polk to a 3-1 conference victory against the visiting Vikings. Polk coach Ty Stott mentioned one reason for Cash’s success on the hill. “He seems to be hiding the ball pretty well. [Batters] aren’t reacting to it too well,” he said. It also doesn’t hurt that his fastball is nearly 90 mph. Cash also hit a home run that proved to be the difference in the game."
